In recent years, Clark & Associates Land Brokers, LLC has assumed additional responsibilities in acting as representatives on behalf of “non-resident” owners who have purchased large ranches in Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Colorado, and Nebraska. Differing from absentee owners who rarely visited their properties, these new ranch owners often reap a greater return on their investment by continuing traditional ranching operations along with enjoying visits to the ranches they now own as well as their involvement in the actual operation of the ranch. However, the day-to-day decisions required in operating a working cattle ranch are often unfamiliar ones for the new owners as is finding the right people to operate the ranch to its greatest potential. From our knowledge and personal experience in operating ranches, the brokers of Clark & Associates Land Brokers, LLC have the ability to facilitate continuity in the daily operation of the ranches while finding the right people to manage the ranches on a long-term basis. In addition to consulting with the owner regarding the production and/or marketing of crops and livestock, lease negotiations, developing an overall ranch management program and budget, we also work with the ranch manager to put these plans in to action. Throughout this relationship, our top priority is providing excellent representation to the owners of these ranches while striving to improve the quality of their real estate investment.
