Shane Baum attended Central Arizona College on a Rodeo scholarship, and later graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Business. He grew up outside Elizabeth, Colorado, where his family raises cattle, trains quarter horses, and produces nationally renowned team roping events. Shane has a true passion for production agriculture, starting from hands-on projects at CSU, to building his own commercial cow/calf operation in Eastern Colorado.  

With sales experience as an Account Executive for ProEquine Group, and later as a top salesman for HatCo Inc. Shane specializes in applying his expertise in customer service and transaction management to his philosophy in real-estate, and especially agricultural production.   

His transactions include irrigated farm ground, water rights, pasture ground, and other residential acreage. He currently manages farms in Eastern Colorado which involves negotiating leases, enrolling farms into crop insurance, marketing commodities, and knowledge of all available USDA Farm Service Conservation programs like CRP, EQIP, CSP, and any emergency relief programs.
